Drug Induced motor effects scale (dimes)

Schizophrenia and the use of antipsychotics are independently associated with increased motor effects, which can contribute to non-adherence to medication, and increased morbidity and mortality. The CCEIP has developed a clinical assessment tool for monitoring motor side effects called the Drug Induced Motor Effects Scale (DIMES) as well as an accompanying demonstration video.
